Collection: Earl Grey Blends

Earl Grey tea is believed to have been discovered in the early 19th century when Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey and British Prime Minister, received a gift of tea infused with bergamot oil from a Chinese Mandarin—a high-ranking official. The blend was intended to suit the Earl’s taste and mask the mineral taste of hard local water. Though the exact origins remain uncertain, the tea gained popularity and became associated with the Earl's name, eventually becoming the iconic Earl Grey blend known today.

This is our collection of Earl Grey loose leaf tea blends.  Bergamot is the star, but other flavours have been combined!
